The Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum Presents:

The Wireless Revolution
The Next Wave of Opportunities

Saturday morning, March 19, 2005

PROGRAM SPONSORS

PROGRAM

Since the advent of the first wireless device-the AM radio-wireless has been an overwhelmingly popular technology for transmitting information. Today's wireless market encompasses a vast array of technologies, including cellular, short-range infrared devices, Wi-Fi and others. Along with the emergence of these technologies, entrepreneurs are also witnessing rapid convergence (e.g., voice-over-wireless-LAN or phone calls made over wireless networks), creating additional opportunities.

In today's market there are still opportunities for entrepreneurial companies with vision, ambition, and unique perspectives to play a role and achieve success. Some of the most interesting and visionary players are smaller companies that are not familiar household names.

As wireless technologies evolve at rapid speed, smaller companies are playing increasing roles in the evolution of this market as they capitalize on the market's unmet needs. The latest wave of wireless evolution is offering these emerging companies the opportunity to play increasingly important roles in an industry that until recently was dominated almost exclusively by the largest players.

Please join the CalTech/MIT Enterprise Forum for a look at the most promising entrepreneurial opportunities in the wireless market. Our panel of experts-providing a diverse array of views-will look at opportunities in this market from a number of perspectives, including entrepreneurs, customers and sources of funding. Included in these discussions will be views and opinions about the market as a whole and identifying the most productive opportunities for entrepreneurs over the next several years, along with advice from two successful CEOs about starting new ventures.
