The program
will open with a keynote presentation by noted entrepreneur and
biomedical engineering business leader, Alfred Mann, who will analyze
the progress in the medical device industry relating to the interface.
This presentation
will be followed by a discussion by one of Caltech's key researchers
on understanding brain function and motor control and how this may
lead to future medical devices.
Then the forum
will continue with a case presentation by an entrepreneur whose
company develops advanced technology prosthetics. An expert panel
will lend perspective and comment throughout the program.
