The Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum Presents:

Nanotechnology:
Out of the Lab

Saturday morning, February 19, 2005

PROGRAM SPONSOR

PROGRAM

Nanotechnology, with its origin on the Caltech campus with Richard Feynman, is the control and manipulation of matter on an atomic scale. Having attracted considerable research funding, is it now commercially viable or is it another area with more hype than substance? Keynote speakers and company presentations will answer whether nanotechnology is entering a productive adolescence as an industry or whether it is still science searching for real applications. With applications to almost every industry, nanotechnology companies, that include public companies and early stage VC-backed startups, will be critiqued by a panel of experts made up of venture capitalists and technology managers of large corporations planning to incorporate nanotechnology.
